Rich textures and strong gestures evoking memories of textures and colours long since thought of. The fluffy princess dress, the costume parties, playing in the rushing storm water, running into the water at the beach.

The linoleum, the kitchen counter; my grandmother making pastry and keeping the vege garden. The feeling of the powdery paint on the fence posts, and the old timber garage with trellised sweet peas in pastel colours.
